Ostuni ZTL

The ZTL of Ostuni is active every day, 24 hours a day with the following exceptions:

• Via Cattedrale (checkpoint open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00)
• Via Francesco Cavallo (checkpoint open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00)
• Via Montegrappa (checkpoint open from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00)
• Via Francesco Vitale (checkpoint open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00)

The transit ban in the ZTL of Ostuni applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.
Electric vehicles may be authorized to enter the ZTL of Ostuni.

The following types of people may be authorized to transit and park in the ZTL of Ostuni:

Holders of a disabled permit who need access to the ZTL of Ostuni must submit a plain-paper request indicating the license plate number and the type of vehicle most frequently used, and the number of the disabled permit in their possession, for the entry of the data and, therefore, validation of the indicated vehicle in the electronic control system, on the white list, without issuance of a pass.

Only one vehicle may be validated, which will have the right to transit and park in the permitted places in compliance with the existing road signage in the ZTL.
In urgent cases, holders of a disabled permit may nevertheless access with any vehicle without prior validation request, provided that they submit to the Local Police Command, within the following 120 hours after access (equal to 5 days), the supporting documentation for the transit, which, if deemed valid, will suspend the sanction issuance procedure.
In the absence of justification, the sanctioning procedure provided for by the Highway Code will be initiated.
