San Giovanni Valdarno ZTL

The ZTL of San Giovanni Valdarno is in force from 09:00 to 06:00 the following day. During this time period, transit and parking are permitted only to authorized persons.

On Sundays and public holidays, the ZTL of San Giovanni Valdarno is in force from 00:00 to 24:00; in C.so Italia, Largo M. da Panicale and Largo A. da Cambio, transit is nevertheless not permitted, except for exemptions for events or special needs to be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the local Local Police Command.
In Piazza Masaccio and Piazza Cavour, the ZTL of San Giovanni Valdarno is always in force from 00:00 to 24:00, and therefore access and transit are permitted only to specifically authorized persons.
For the regulation of traffic on market days, normally scheduled on Saturday, a specific ordinance will be issued; in any case, on that occasion, throughout the ZTL of San Giovanni Valdarno the transit and parking of motor vehicles is prohibited from 06:00 to 14:00, except for authorized access. Further restrictions on transit and parking, duly announced from time to time, may be imposed by the Municipal Administration on the occasion of events of various kinds.

The access ban applies to all vehicles, so motorcycles and mopeds may not enter without a permit.

Electrically-powered cars and mopeds are treated the same as other motor vehicles.

• owners of garages in the ZTL of San Giovanni Valdarno,
• loading and unloading of goods and similar,
• shopkeepers and craftsmen with a sales outlet or workshop in the ZTL of San Giovanni Valdarno or A.P.,
• craftsmen and service-providing firms,
• general practitioners,
• sales representatives,
• driving schools,
• public interest services.
