For certain categories of vehicles, transit is allowed within individual authorized sectors of the ZTL di Pioltello through the issuance of a daily permit and temporary entry into a list of authorized license plates called the "Lista bianca" (White List).

Daily permits may exceptionally also be issued by the Roads Directorate.

These permits may be issued retroactively within 5 days only for the categories for which this option is indicated.

Issuance of permits is subject to payment of a fee set by the local authority, except where specific provisions state otherwise for particular categories.

The permit will be issued free of charge if access to the Area is for events and/or initiatives organized by the Administration or by Associations, Bodies, etc. for recreational purposes. Daily permits will also be issued for trucks with a mass exceeding 3,500 kg, with an indication of the route and any other requirements at the discretion of the Local Police Command.

Vehículos permitidos

Hand-drawn vehicles
Animal-drawn vehicles
Bicycles
Mopeds (two-wheeled only) and motorcycles

3- and 4-wheeled vehicles powered exclusively by electric traction and registered for passenger transport are authorized to transit in all sectors, through entry into the "permanent White List".

For occasional access needs in the ZTL di Pioltello, disabled persons who are not residents may request, on a case-by-case basis, the addition of their license plate to the white list, even retroactively, within 48 hours following access, at the Local Police Command (Local Police: 02.92.141.736 - 02.92.366.501, Information Office: tel. 02.92.366.268 - 272).

The various types of authorizations allow transit in all zones and parking in spaces reserved for residents, and grant an exemption from the bans set out under Articles 6 and 7 of the Highway Code, except where this results in a violation of Art. 158 of the Highway Code.
