Lecce ZTL

In the ZTL in Lecce's historic center, transit, parking, and stopping are prohibited for unauthorized vehicles every day of the year from 21:00 to 6:00 in the morning.
In 2019, on a trial basis, for the month of August only, the ZTL activation was moved earlier to 18:00 every day.

On Sundays and holidays, the ZTL is active 24 hours a day.

Mopeds and motorcycles are authorized to enter the Lecce ZTL without authorization.

An annual pass for ZTL access for hybrid cars can also be collected at the municipal offices.

The following are subject to an exemption to access the Lecce ZTL through authorization to be requested via the appropriate form:

• residents of the Lecce ZTL
• persons domiciled in the Lecce ZTL
• owners of shops and craft businesses located in the Lecce ZTL
• Assistance
• Suppliers
• Study/office
• journalists

In the case of occasional access, and in particular for persons not included on the white lists, the transit must be reported within 48 hours by contacting the municipal police using either the toll-free number 800848586 or fax 0832 230859, providing the license plate number along with the permit number and the holder's name.

• on weekdays from 05:30 to 10:30 and from 15:00 to 17:00,
• on holidays from 05:30 to 10:00.
