Catania ZTL

• Via Landolina, north intersection with via Vittorio Emanuele;
• Via S. Agata, north intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele.

There does not appear to be a distinction between types of vehicles authorized to access the ZTL of Catania: there is therefore no possibility of access to the zone for motorcycles unless authorized.

As provided for by Council Resolution 779 of 26/08/09, the following categories of vehicles are allowed to circulate within the ZTL of Catania:

• bicycles;
• police vehicles,
• rescue and fire brigade vehicles, only on urgent emergency duty;
• street-cleaning vehicles for carrying out the service;
• vehicles serving people with disabilities equipped with the permit referred to in art. 381 of DPR.495/92 and with the disabled person on board;
• public vehicles licensed by the Municipality (Taxis);
• goods transport vehicles from 06:00 to 08:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00 for loading/unloading activity;
• residents' vehicles to access private garages;
• vehicles authorized for exceptional and temporary needs.

Vehicles serving people with disabilities equipped with the permit referred to in art. 381 of DPR.495/92 and with the disabled person on board may enter the ZTL of Catania.

To be authorized for access, an application must be submitted to the municipal police using the appropriate form.

To gain access, it is necessary to have the appropriate pass obtainable by making a request to the municipal police using the following form
