A temporary transit pass/permit for access to the ZTL of Vernazza may be granted by the Municipal Police Command, following a documented application.
Camera locations
Access to the ZTL of Vernazza is controlled by a monitored checkpoint with a camera that automatically detects access and fines unauthorized vehicles, located on via Roma at the entrance to the town center right after the parking area.
Permitted vehicles
The ban on transit in the ZTL of Vernazza applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.
Authorized subjects
The following types of people may be authorized to transit and park in the ZTL of Vernazza:
Loading / unloading
- from March 15 to November 2: only Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 07:00 to 11:30, and, only for holders of commercial and craft licenses, unloading of perishable goods on Saturday from 07:00 to 09:00
- from November 3 to March 14: every day from 07:00 to 12:30 with a maximum stop of 30 minutes
