Treviglio ZTL

There are 6 camera-monitored access points connected to the electronic system database, located on:

• via Roma;
• via Sangalli;
• via Verga;
• via Tommaso Grossi;
• Piazza Garibaldi.
• via Della Torre.

The access ban for the Treviglio ZTL applies to all cars in Sector 1, and also to motorcycles in Sector 2.

For goods vehicles, the following ban also applies:

• vehicles with a height, including load, over 2.60 m
• vehicles with a fully laden mass over 3.5 t.

• Government representative vehicles,
• vehicles belonging to the Police Forces,
• the Armed Forces,
• Local Police forces,
• Emergency response vehicles
• representative cars of the Municipal Administration;

b) The following vehicles are authorized, without needing a permit, to access and park, limited to the time strictly necessary to carry out their task and without obstructing traffic:

c) the following are authorized, provided they hold an appropriate permit, to access and park for 24 hours in the specially marked spaces:

• residents, under Article 43 of the Civil Code, without a parking space on their own premises;

c1) The following are authorized, provided they hold an appropriate permit (ORANGE COLOUR "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO"), to access with the possibility of a brief stop in Piazzale Santuario: tenants and holders of commercial or business activities in properties located in Piazzale Santuario itself or in Vicolo S. Agostino (section facing Piazzale Santuario);
c2) Vehicles designated by the parish priest on behalf of the Parish Administration of S. Martino and S. Maria Assunta are authorized to access and park in Piazzale Santuario only, in connection with religious services and related needs, provided they hold an appropriate permit (ORANGE COLOUR "WITHOUT NO-PARKING LOGO");
d) The following are authorized, provided they hold an appropriate permit, to access with the possibility of a brief stop for loading/unloading goods:

• residents with a parking space on their own premises (GREEN COLOUR "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO");
• non-residents with an available parking space (ORANGE COLOUR "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO");
• non-residents who are holders of a public establishment, commercial business, craft activity, offices or professional practices, without a parking space on their own premises (ORANGE COLOUR "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO");

e) The following are authorized, provided they hold an appropriate permit (ORANGE COLOUR "WITHOUT NO-PARKING LOGO"), to access and park (for the time strictly necessary and without obstructing vehicle and pedestrian traffic) in the limited traffic zone:

• those who, at the request of the Mayor, the Municipal Secretary or the Municipality's Director General, must carry out, at the Town Hall or at branch offices in the historic centre, activities connected with the exercise of Public Administration functions (e.g. ministerial inspections, etc.).

Static and moving traffic in "AREA 2" of the LIMITED TRAFFIC ZONE is permitted "at walking pace" for the categories of users indicated below, as also set out in the traffic order governing traffic and parking regulations in the historic centre:
a) Government representative vehicles, vehicles belonging to the Police Forces, the Armed Forces, Local Police forces, as well as emergency response vehicles are authorized to access and park;
b) The following are authorized to access, without needing a permit, with the possibility of stopping limited to the time strictly necessary:

c) the following are authorized to transit, provided they hold an appropriate permit:

• residents without a parking space on their own premises (GREEN COLOUR permit "WITHOUT NO-PARKING LOGO"): parking is permitted only in the spaces reserved for residents within ZTL Area 1;
• residents with a parking space on their own premises (GREEN COLOUR permit "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO");
• non-residents with an available parking space (ORANGE COLOUR permit "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO");
• non-residents who are holders of a public establishment, commercial business, craft activity, without a parking space on their own premises (ORANGE COLOUR permit "WITH NO-PARKING LOGO").

Two-wheeled mopeds must be walked by hand, with the engine switched off.

• from 08:00 to 10:00
• from 13:00 to 16:30.

Vehicles registered as trucks do not need a permit; other vehicles must instead request an appropriate permit in advance from the Local Police Command, presenting the vehicle's registration document (a copy is also accepted).
