Daily access permits for the ZTL of Rho are issued for the following reasons:

Camera locations

  • Via Bugatti
  • Via Matteotti
  • Via Madonna
  • Largo Casati
  • Via Pomè

Permitted vehicles

In the ZTL of Rho, motorcycles and mopeds may not circulate unless expressly authorized.

Electric vehicles may enter but must hold authorization.

Authorized subjects

Permanent authorizations for access to the ZTL of Rho are issued to the following parties:

  • residents of the ZTL of Rho who own and/or use a vehicle;
  • non-residents who nevertheless have permanent or temporary residence in the ZTL and own/use a vehicle;
  • owners or tenants of garages or parking spaces located within the ZTL;
  • Holders of businesses within the ZTL;
  • vehicles registered to Companies and Businesses providing public services;
  • Institutes and companies specialized in the transport of valuables;
  • Owners, tenants, usufructuaries of any property located within the ZTL
  • Artisans with premises within the ZTL
  • General practitioners and pediatricians who have patients within the ZTL
  • Humanitarian associations providing home assistance in the ZTL
  • Households with residents of the ZTL over 70 years of age, in need of assistance
  • Judicial officers, collection agents and judicial authority

Temporary authorizations for access to the ZTL of Rho are issued to the following parties:

The following vehicles are not subject to any restriction:

  • Ambulances
  • Armed forces vehicles
  • Police corps vehicles
  • Fire brigade vehicles

The following vehicles are authorized upon prior notification of the license plate:

  • Taxis and hire cars with driver
  • Security institute vehicles
  • Health authority vehicles
  • Postal service vehicles
  • Urban hygiene and recycling collection vehicles
  • Public billboard vehicles, school buses, road signage vehicles in the performance of their services
  • Public body vehicles in the performance of their service
  • Trucks and vehicles of street vendors

Disabled access

Vehicles serving persons with disabilities may access the ZTL of Rho according to the following procedures:

  • Residents of the Municipality of Rho must report the license plate of the vehicle habitually used to the relevant office (Call center toll-free number 800.756.346); alternatively, notification must be made within five days of the transit having taken place;
  • Workers within the ZTL who are not residents of the Municipality of Rho, only if holding a specific authorization valid for the same duration as the permit or the related employment contract;
  • Non-residents of the Municipality of Rho who access the ZTL of Rho occasionally must report the license plate of the vehicle used to the relevant office (Call center toll-free number 800.756.346) within five days of the transit having taken place.
