Permitted vehicles
The access ban to the Pesaro ZTL applies to all vehicles except those authorized, and therefore motorcycles and mopeds cannot enter unless expressly authorized.
Authorized subjects
The following are authorized to enter the Pesaro ZTL upon obtaining a permit:
- Residents
- Owners of garages or private areas
- Doctors
- Access to the nursery school on via Gallilarie
- Accompanying a minor under 13 years of age
- Nursing and home care assistance
- Holders of public offices and functions
- Newspaper, radio and television editorial staff
- Prefecture and public administrations
- Foundations
- Ministers of religion
- Craft activities other than construction, maintenance and emergency repair of technological systems with a production site within the limited traffic zone;
- Construction, maintenance and emergency repair activities for technological systems with a production site within the limited traffic zone
- Construction, maintenance and emergency repair activities for technological systems with a production site outside the limited traffic zone
- Craft production of bakery products (bakers and pastry chefs)
- Merchants holding a stall concession at the San Domenico market
- Freight transport and home delivery activities (with vehicles with a gross laden weight not exceeding 75 quintals);
- Sales representatives or business agents
- Banking institutions based within the ZTL;
- Universal postal service offices based within the ZTL
- Security and valuables transport firms
Disabled access
Holders of disabled permits, registered as residents in the Municipality of Pesaro, must notify the municipal police of the license plates to be added to the whitelist in order to enter the Pesaro ZTL; up to a maximum of 4 license plates may be associated with each permit.
For any access to the Pesaro ZTL by non-residents, the toll-free number 800 011 031 must be notified of the vehicle's license plate number, the permit number and the municipality that issued the authorization.
