Provisional permits for access to the Macerata ZTL are divided into daily permits with an ordinary validity of 30 minutes and monthly permits.
Issuance of the permit is subject to payment of a fee set by the municipal administration.

Only cars and trucks weighing less than 3,500 kg of a Euro emissions class compatible with current regulations on limiting polluting emissions may be authorized.

Permitted vehicles

Mopeds, motorcycles and electric vehicles may enter the Macerata ZTL even without authorization. Transit is prohibited for trucks with a total laden weight exceeding 3.5 t unless holding a specific permit.

Disabled access

Vehicles serving disabled persons with significantly reduced mobility holding the special permit under D.P.R. 24.7.1996 no. 503 may enter the Macerata ZTL.
