Permitted vehicles
Users of electric vehicles can access and transit the Comacchio ZTL without needing to request any authorization. These vehicles may not park in the ZTL unless they hold a specific authorization.
Conversely, mopeds and motorcycles may only access the Comacchio ZTL if expressly authorized and included on the relevant white lists.
Authorized subjects
In addition to the categories provided for by law, the following categories may be authorized to access the Comacchio ZTL:
Disabled access
Holders of the disabled parking permit (referred to in Art. 381 of the Highway Code Implementation Regulation) may access the Comacchio ZTL.
A holder residing in the Municipality of Comacchio must report to the Municipal Police Command the license plates of the vehicles regularly used (up to a maximum of 2).
For non-resident disabled permit holders, any occasional access to the ZTL must be reported in advance to the Municipal Police Command, or within 5 (five) days of the transit, by fax or e-mail, attaching the vehicle's registration certificate, a copy of an identity document, and a copy of the disabled permit (front and back). Holders of the permit referred to in Art. 188 of the Highway Code may access the Limited Traffic Zone without restriction, provided that the disabled permit is clearly displayed on the front of the vehicle used.
