Paid transit and parking in the Urbino ZTL is permitted with authorization, every day of the week, for a maximum of 120 minutes.

For this type of permit, explicit reference is made to resolution D.G.M. no. 181 of 05/07/2005.

For information on how to obtain one, it is recommended to contact the Urbino municipal police.

Разрешённый транспорт

In the Urbino ZTL area, all vehicles whose gross vehicle weight as shown on the registration document is over 3.5 tonnes, even if travelling unladen, are always prohibited from entering, transiting, stopping, and parking.

Access, transit, stopping, and parking are instead always permitted for bicycles and two-wheeled mopeds.

In the Urbino ZTL, access, transit, stopping, and parking are always permitted for:

bicycles,
two-wheeled mopeds,
vehicles of Public Administrations or companies tasked with performing public services bearing the insignia of the body they belong to (Municipalities, Provinces, Regions, the State, Poste, Enel, Telecom, etc.),
vehicles in Police or emergency service, or assigned to carrying out public services (Fire Brigade, street cleaning, vehicle towing and recovery, etc.),
urban public transport,
cash-in-transit vehicles serving credit institutions and the Post Office,
vehicles serving disabled persons clearly displaying the appropriate permit issued pursuant to art. 188 of the Highway Code,
vehicles used for chauffeured hire service or taxis allowed to enter and park in the designated spaces on C.so Garibaldi;

The following categories of vehicles may enter the Urbino ZTL upon issue of a specific permit:

residents of the Urbino ZTL,
holders of a parking space in the Urbino ZTL
commercial businesses based within the Urbino ZTL
public establishments
distributors of fresh bakery products, medicines, fish products, gas cylinders for domestic use
craft businesses providing production or services
sales representatives
press service
building material transport companies and construction firms
doctors and healthcare professionals
bodies, offices, and credit institutions
magistrates, court and prosecutor's office managers
police forces, court bailiffs
elderly care assistance
accompanying children to nursery and pre-school
accompanying school-age minors
transport of temporarily disabled persons
