Cesena ZTL

For needs related to occasional and temporary operations to be carried out within the ZTL, for documented exceptional personal needs, and for permit variation needs as referred to in points 3.1.3 and 3.1.4 above, a TEMPORARY PERMIT for transit and operational parking connected to the functional needs indicated by the applicant may be requested from the MUNICIPAL POLICE Command, in compliance with current stamp duty legislation.
Temporary permits are issued at the sole discretion of the Head of the Municipal Police Department or their delegate, with the following procedures;
- permits authorizing transit and/or parking in the ZTL, valid for a period of 4 to 15 days, are issued by the Municipal Police Command upon request on a specific form, signed by the applicant, available at the Municipal Police office itself;
- a pass valid for up to three days may be issued by submitting the request verbally;
- the applicant must submit, together with the request, documents justifying it (e.g. goods transport documents, copy of the works contract for the execution of works, request for change of residence, etc.);
- these documents will be kept as plain copies by the Road Traffic Operations Unit;
- the request includes a declaration made by the authorized parties, whereby, under their own responsibility and after
being warned of the consequences arising from false statements, falsification of documents, and use of false documents, they attest to the existence of the status, facts, or qualities that entitle them to obtain the relevant permits;

On the form, the applicant must indicate:
- their full personal details or their capacity as representative;
- the essential details of the vehicle (make, type, license plate);
- the type of legal relationship between the party and the vehicle (ownership, lease, etc.);
- the entitlement for the issue of the provisional permit, and, in the case of supplying commercial businesses, public establishments, craftsmen, cash-in-transit, etc., the type and name of the establishment(s) served and its location;
- any other information deemed useful (e.g. for sales agents, their registration details with the C.C.I.A.A.);
- in the event of parking, in spaces permitted by the provisional permit according to the signage in place, the pass must be displayed clearly visible on the vehicle's windshield and shown upon request to any public official carrying out checks;
- daily passes may be requested by the same person or vehicle for a maximum of 12 per year;
- passes with a validity ranging from 2 to 15 days may be requested by the same person or vehicle for a maximum of 3 per year;
It is forbidden to drive with copies of permits, even if used by the holder themselves.
Possession of copies of this type of document is equivalent to not possessing them at all and carries the corresponding criminal and administrative consequences.
