If loading/unloading activities are repetitive and constant over time, it is useful to report (using the form downloadable further down this page) the vehicle's characteristics so that the competent Office can add the vehicle's plate to the list of authorized vehicles; once the plate is entered into the database, a letter is sent to the company confirming a two-year registration of the plate.

If the vehicle exceeds 3.5 t, it is necessary to request the issuance of a permit (temporary - if lasting less than 30 days, or biennial); the permit is issued after the Permits Office has obtained approval from the Public Works Sector.

Installers and maintenance technicians

Installers and maintenance technicians who pass through the gate occasionally (i.e., only once) may access it and subsequently report the reasons for the passage by sending a fax to the number 800.189.590 specifying the vehicle's plate number, the date and time of the passage, and the gate crossed.
