Camaiore ZTL

The pedestrian zone of Camaiore is active every day, 24 hours a day.
The ZTL is active every day from 19:30 to 07:30 the following day.

• via XX Settembre intersection with piazza XXIX Maggio (ZTL),
• via XX Settembre intersection with piazza del Rivellino (APU)
• Contrada Santa Croce, (ZTL)
• via Vittorio Emanuele intersection with piazza Romboni (APU)
• piazza del Rivellino (APU)

The ban on travel in the ZTL of Camaiore applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorbikes may not enter unless expressly authorized.

In addition to those authorized by law, the following categories of vehicles may access the ZTL of Camaiore:

• those who reside or are domiciled in the area concerned,
• those who use a garage in the same area,
• holders of offices or professional, hospitality or commercial activities,
• owners of vehicles used for transporting goods.

Disabled persons resident in the Municipality of Camaiore who already hold the special circulation and parking permit (D.P.R. 12/12/1992 No. 495) and who frequently visit the pedestrian area of Camaiore must report the plates of the vehicles to be registered; those submitting a request for the first time for the authorization under art. 188 of the Highway Code must report to the Local Police Corps the plates of the vehicles to be registered.
Registration takes place automatically upon issuance of the authorization. In both cases, only one vehicle is registered per authorization.
Disabled persons resident in other municipalities who regularly access the pedestrian area of Camaiore's historic center must request the Local Police Corps to register, on a general basis, the vehicle ordinarily used. The request, made using the appropriate form, must specify the details of the authorization held by the applicant and the reasons for which the registration is requested.
Disabled persons resident in other municipalities who access the pedestrian area occasionally must, beforehand or alternatively within 48 hours of the access taking place, send the duly completed form. Access carried out without following the procedures indicated above is considered unauthorized.
