Ascoli Piceno ZTL

The Ascoli Piceno ZTL is active every day:

• from 00:00 to 05:00
• from 09:00 to 12:45
• from 15:30 to 24:00

• Carmine Gate (located on C.so Mazzini at the intersection with Piazza Matteotti)
• Bonaccorsi Gate (located on P.zza Viola, at the intersection with Via Bonaccorsi)
• Mazzini Gate (located on Mazzini, at the intersection with via Trento e Trieste) Pedestrian Gate
• Mercantini Gate (located on Via Mercantini, at the intersection with Via Palestro)
• Cairoli Gate (located on Via Cairoli, at the intersection with Via Marucci)
• Via dei Tessitori Gate (located on via dei Tessitori at the intersection with Lungotronto Bartolomei)

The transit ban in the Ascoli Piceno ZTL is valid for every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.

Vehicles driven by disabled persons or serving them, holding a valid permit (referred to in Art. 188 of the Highway Code and Art. 381 of the implementation regulation) may access the Ascoli Piceno ZTL.
Access to the ZTL must actually be related to the needs of the disabled permit holder. For permits issued by the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno only, after issuance, the holder must report to the Municipal Police Command the license plates of the vehicles used to access the ZTL (up to a maximum of 3), which will be added to the "white list".
Vehicles driven by disabled persons or serving them that access the ZTL occasionally and/or beyond the reported license plates, or that have otherwise not reported the plate in advance, must notify the Municipal Police Command within 48 hours following the transit, using the appropriate form and sending it fully completed by one of the following methods
