Access to the limited traffic zones of Cernusco sul Naviglio is always permitted, with a permit, to the following categories of vehicles:

• vehicles registered to residents of the streets covered by the ZTL
• vehicles registered to persons domiciled on the streets covered by the ZTL but resident outside the municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio
• public utility service vehicles and operational vehicles used for public or private works authorized by ordinance
• vehicles with a gross laden weight of up to 3.5 t owned by craft and commercial businesses based within the limited traffic zone (ZTL)
• vehicles owned by craft and commercial businesses based on streets within the limited traffic zone (ZTL) providing home delivery
• vehicles with a garage within the ZTL
• vehicles registered to family doctors and pediatricians under agreement with the National Health Service, doctors from the hygiene office, forensic medicine, and veterinarians engaged in territorial service for the ASL
• vehicles with a gross laden weight of up to 3.5 t used continuously for loading and unloading goods
• vehicles used continuously for maintenance and repair activities under a service contract with emergency response characteristics within the limited traffic zone
• craftsmen
• medical or physical treatment

• mobility scooters, mopeds, and vehicles serving persons with disabilities
• displaying the appropriate permit;
• vehicles used for public transport service;
• street mechanical cleaning vehicles;
• vehicles for separate waste collection;
• taxis, chauffeured hire vehicles (N.C.C.);
• emergency response vehicles;
• service vehicles within the institutional duties of the Local and Provincial Police Corps,
• Police Forces, Fire Brigade, Armed Forces, other Armed Corps
• of the State;
• civil protection emergency response and transport vehicles;
• vehicles registered to Public Bodies, Companies and Firms providing essential public services
• (postal service, telecommunications, water and energy supply);
• vehicles serving Public Administrations, including the Judiciary, and
• owned by bodies providing public services, with a company logo or evident symbols
• affixed to the bodywork (State, Region, Province, Municipality and their Consortia, Unions and
• associations);
• vehicles of private Security Institutes for security services;
• cash-in-transit vehicles with escort;
• vehicles used for the supply of medicines;
• vehicles used for transporting meals to supply hospital,
• school, and retirement home canteens, or individual communities, and catering services;
• vehicles equipped for forced towing;
• vehicles used for funeral transport and accompanying service vehicles;
• bicycles and pedal-assisted quadricycles.

Disabled citizens resident in the Municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio.

The Municipality will send the disabled citizen a notice requesting them to declare to the Local Police Office, by fax, letter, phone, or in person, the details of 1 license plate associated with them, which will be authorized to enter the Cernusco sul Naviglio ZTL

If the disabled citizen should use an additional means of transport with a different license plate, they may declare this situation in advance, or within 96 hours of entering the Cernusco sul Naviglio ZTL, by fax, letter, phone, or in person, at the Local Police Command offices, providing their personal details, the reference license plate, the permit number in their possession, and the issuing municipality. If the disabled citizen is fined for entering the Cernusco sul Naviglio ZTL with a vehicle not previously reported, the cancellation process will be handled using the usual currently adopted procedures.

Disabled citizens not resident in the Municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio.

A disabled citizen who does not reside in the Municipality and who needs to enter the ZTL must declare this situation in advance, or within 96 hours of entry, by fax, letter, phone, or in person, presenting themselves at the Local Police Command offices, providing their personal details, the reference license plate, the permit number in their possession, and the issuing municipality.
