The ZTL of Tagliacozzo is active according to the following calendar:
- from June 15 to September 30: every day 0-24
- from October 1 to June 14: on holidays and pre-holidays 0-24
- Piazza Argoli and Piazza Obelisco on Saturday or pre-holiday from 14:00 that same day until 14:00 on Sunday or the holiday;
- Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi on Saturday or pre-holiday from 08:00 that same day until 14:00 on Sunday or the holiday.

A temporary transit permit/pass for access to the ZTL of Tagliacozzo may be granted by the Municipal Police Command upon documented request.
Permits may be issued, for example, for religious events (weddings, funerals) or events organized or sponsored by the Municipal Administration.

The transit ban in the ZTL of Tagliacozzo applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.
