The Brindisi Municipal Police Command can evaluate requests for access to the ZTL and grant temporary exception permits for justified reasons.

Vehicule permise

The ban on transit in the Brindisi ZTL applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.
Electric vehicles may also transit in the Brindisi ZTL.

Persoane autorizate

The following categories are exempt from the transit ban in the Brindisi ZTL:

residents
vehicles of employees or self-employed workers at economic activities and professional practices located within the ZTL
police, rescue vehicles, fire brigade, and those used by healthcare professionals in the performance of their duties
holders of duly authorized driveway access permits
operation of public services on behalf of the Municipal Administration
transport of valuables and postal delivery
goods delivery
public transport (scheduled public transport, taxis and NCC)
vehicles destined for accommodation facilities located within the ZTL
vehicles directed to the "Porta Monsignore" checkpoint under the jurisdiction of the Navy.

Acces persoane cu dizabilități

In the Brindisi ZTL, circulation and stopping of vehicles serving disabled persons does not appear to be permitted.

Regina Margherita from 7:00 to 8:00 AM, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
Sciabiche from 7:00 to 10:30 AM, and from 3:30 to 5:30 PM.
