Speed Enforcement

Slovenia checks speed with fixed cameras and mobile units, and DARS cameras check e-vignettes on the motorways, including the A1 (Šentilj–Maribor–Ljubljana–Koper). The H4 expressway through the Vipava valley is exposed to the bora: wind sensors trigger restrictions and full closures in strong gusts.
