The Fiano Romano ZTL is active every day, 24 hours a day, however two experimental free-access windows are provided:

For special needs to access the Fiano Romano ZTL, temporary permits are available lasting up to 24 hours or up to 48 hours.

Transit and parking are allowed according to the terms indicated on the permit from time to time.

The permit is issued for:

a) Loading/unloading of heavy or bulky objects, perishable goods;

b) transport of persons with temporary impaired mobility;

c) sales representatives with heavy or bulky sample cases;

e) companies granted an OSAP concession in the ZTL for works or removals;

f) access to a private parking space temporarily available to the applicant;

g) temporary public utility services;

h) events, special functions;

i) accompanying children to nursery schools, kindergartens and elementary schools or other facilities (if located within the ZTL);

j) customers of garages, repair shops;

l) temporary existence of the requirements provided for the issuance of permanent permits.

Dopuštena vozila

In the Fiano Romano ZTL, access is allowed exclusively to authorized vehicles fitted with the appropriate permit; parking is allowed for residents in reserved parking spaces and where not in conflict with the rules of the Highway Code.

It follows that access for motorcycles and mopeds is reserved for authorized vehicles only.

Within this area, entry is also prohibited for:

trucks with a fully loaded weight exceeding 3.5t
trucks with a fully loaded weight under 3.5t with a maximum width exceeding 2.00 m - maximum height exceeding 2.70 m.

In the "Free Access" Area (Piazzale Cairoli - the section of Via Roma up to the intersection with Via XX Settembre - Via XX Settembre), entry is permanently prohibited for:

trucks with a fully loaded weight exceeding 3.5t
trucks with a fully loaded weight under 3.5t with a maximum width exceeding 2.00 m - maximum height exceeding 2.70 m

In the Fiano Romano ZTL, the following categories of people may be authorized through the issuance of the appropriate permit:

By way of exemption from the above, access to the Fiano Romano ZTL for service needs is allowed for the following vehicles:

Police and Armed Forces vehicles, such as: State Police, Carabinieri, Traffic Police, Finance Police, Municipal Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulances, "Metronotte" Mobile Surveillance Service
Vehicles of the State Service and the Diplomatic Corps fitted with an appropriate metal permit affixed to the vehicle.
Vehicles owned by the Municipality of Fiano Romano.
Vehicles in service of the MAYOR and the Municipal Administration.
Vehicles of personnel serving at the Local Police Command of this Municipality, due to the particular nature of the service performed (parking allowed only in case of an on-call intervention).
Vehicles used for public transport. g) Vehicles used to transport disabled persons provided they carry the special permit (subject to authorization or regularization of transit)
Taxis and hire cars with driver. (subject to authorization or regularization of transit)
Street cleaning vehicles (subject to authorization or regularization of transit)
Vehicles used for municipal solid waste collection (subject to authorization or regularization of transit)

Pristup za osobe s invaliditetom

There are two options:

a) COURTESY PLATE NOTIFICATION: The citizen with reduced mobility submits the request to the Local Police Corps and provides the plate number of the vehicle mainly used. The plate is then added to the list of vehicles authorized to transit. (This notification is useful if access to the ZTL occurs fairly frequently.)

b) OCCASIONAL TRANSIT PLATE NOTIFICATION: The citizen with reduced mobility may request "after the fact" that a transit be authorized. In this case, the transit must be regularized within 72 hours of entry, by sending via fax 0765/388051 - via email [email protected] the request form with the following documents attached:

I. A self-certified declaration signed by the disabled person stating that on the day/time/place they were actually on board the vehicle (specify model - plate) that entered the ZTL.

The citizen with reduced mobility may also request in advance that a transit be authorized.

In this case, the above documentation must be sent to the Local Police Corps at least 6 hours in advance, to the addresses/numbers and in the manner indicated on the respective request form.

Any request lacking all the required documentation will not be considered valid and will have no effect on the regularization of the transit.

Utovar / istovar

a) PERMIT M, in compliance with road signage and markings, for trucks with a fully loaded weight under 3.5t with a maximum width NOT exceeding 2.00 m and a maximum height NOT exceeding 2.70 m

Access is allowed Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 09:00 and from 15:00 to 16:00.
