Speed & red-light cameras
Fixed cameras are the most common source of surprise fines — they don't move, but they're easy to miss on an unfamiliar road. TollTracker knows where they are and warns you in time.
Fixed speed cameras
- We map fixed speed cameras and warn you as you approach — typically around 800 m ahead, so you have time to check your speed calmly.
- Where we know the posted limit for that camera, we show it alongside the alert.
- The alert is spoken and on-screen, so you don't need to touch your phone.
Red-light cameras
- Red-light cameras at intersections are mapped and alerted the same way.
- Some red-light cameras also enforce speed — when that's the case, we treat them as both.
How the alert works
- As you drive, TollTracker checks your position and heading against the cameras ahead on your road.
- When you're approaching one in your direction of travel, you get an early warning.
- Cameras behind you, or on the opposite carriageway, are filtered out so you only hear what's relevant.
