Live alerts & hazards

Not every risk sits in a fixed place. Mobile cameras move, police checks appear and disappear, and hazards happen in the moment. TollTracker adds these live to the map as they're reported, and warns you as you approach.

What's covered

  • Mobile cameras — temporary cameras placed on roads without warning. Known mobile-camera spots are refreshed weekly.
  • Police checks — checkpoints and active speed patrols.
  • Road hazards — accidents, road works, objects or vehicles on the road, and road closures.

How live alerts work

  • Live reports appear as pins on the map and are added and removed in real time — you don't have to refresh anything.
  • As you approach a live report in your direction of travel, you get an alert, the same hands-free way as camera warnings.
  • Reports fade out over time as they get older, so you're not warned about something that's long gone.

Report a live event yourself

TollTracker gets better when drivers help each other. If you pass something worth flagging, you can report it in a couple of taps:

  1. Open the report a live event panel.
  2. Pick the type — mobile camera, police, accident, hazard, and so on.
  3. Confirm. The report is submitted quickly and appears on the map for nearby drivers.

Your location for the report is captured at the moment you open the panel, so what you flag lands in the right place.

Report safely

Only report when it's safe to do so — ideally as a passenger, or using the fast one-tap confirmation. Never handle your phone in a way that distracts you from driving.

Drive without surprises.
