Udine ZTL

The ZTL of Udine is active every day, 24 hours a day.

• Via Manin (operation suspended until December 31, 2020),
• Vicolo Sillio (operation suspended until December 31, 2020)
• Piazza San Cristoforo (operation suspended until December 31, 2020)

The ban on transit in the ZTL of Udine applies to every type of vehicle, therefore mopeds and motor vehicles cannot access unless expressly authorized.
The following vehicles may access the ZTLs and APs of Udine without any notification: hand-pushed vehicles, bicycles and zero-emission vehicles whose size and speed allow them to be treated as bicycles.

There is also a ban on transit in the ZTL and AP for vehicles with a fully-loaded mass exceeding 3.5 t not used for the transport of persons, with the exception of vehicles of the company Net spa used for solid urban waste collection.

"FREE" access to the ZTLs and APs of Udine, with the possibility of transit and parking where permitted, upon prior notification to the Municipal Police Command of the plates of the vehicles used, for inclusion in the database of the Municipality of Udine, to be updated immediately in case of change, is allowed for the following categories of vehicles:

• Vehicles owned by operators of public services and public utilities (gas, lighting, telephony, water, TPL, Taxi, chauffeur-driven hire vehicles, waste collection, funeral vehicles, etc.) or contracting companies, used for service purposes within the ZTLs and APs;
• Vehicles used in Emergency Response services (Carabinieri, Police, Fire Brigade, Emergency Medical Service, Local Police UTI, etc.) for service purposes. When identified with special plates (C.C., GdF, VV.FF., POLIZIA, CRI, etc.) they are not subject to prior notification of plates.
