The Municipal Police may issue temporary authorizations, based on events or the needs of users and the community, where the need for access to the Z.T.L. is recognized for a vehicle not authorized by another type of permit.
The temporary permit may be issued, at the request of the interested party, for:
- ceremonies (wedding cars, funerals),
- the organization of events/happenings/shows within the ZTL,
- urgent and unavoidable repair work,
- accompanying elderly people with reduced mobility who are not residents of the ZTL,
- people temporarily unable to carry out work activities within the ZTL, disabled persons following prior phone communication, replacement vehicles, etc.
Kamerastandorte
Access to the ZTL of Pitignano is controlled by a monitored gate with a camera that automatically detects entry and fines unauthorized vehicles, located at via Roma at the intersection with Piazza della Repubblica.
Zugelassene Fahrzeuge
The transit ban in the ZTL of Pitignano applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.
Berechtigte Personen
The following types of people may be authorized to transit and stop in the ZTL of Pitignano:
- Law enforcement
- Emergency vehicles
- Vehicles owned by or used by the Municipal Administration
- Vehicles for community services (post, electricity, water, telephony, funeral services, security firms, waste collection and street cleaning...)
- Taxis – NCC (chauffeur-driven hire) based in the Municipality of Pitigliano
