Pistoia ZTL

For the ZTL - CS - APU Zones, the Municipal Police Command may also issue the following provisional authorizations:

• daily
• temporary
• by exemption

in the following cases and manner:

DAILY:

allows transit and parking on the streets of the ZTL - CS - APU as specified on the authorization itself and in any case in compliance with the regulations indicated on site.

It is issued in cases of proven and effective need to use the vehicle, with terms and validity established case by case by the office responsible for issuing it, with parking normally allowed for no more than 60 minutes.

For sales representatives, upon presentation of the transport document or delivery note, parking will be allowed for a maximum of 2 (two) hours and according to the regulations indicated on site.

TEMPORARY:

• For residence:

- For those who, for work and/or study reasons, temporarily reside in a private home located within the ZTL, CS and APU.

- Issuance is subject to submission of documentation proving actual residence.

- The vehicle must be registered to the applicant or a family member.

- The applicant may not be a resident of the Municipality of Pistoia.

The first authorization for each resident household is free of charge, the second is

subject to payment of 30 (thirty) euros per year, the third to payment of 100

(one hundred) euros per year.

No more than three authorizations per household are allowed.

For works

- for documented construction, maintenance, etc. works in the ZTL, CS and APU that will continue over time, limited to the duration of the works and provided the vehicles are registered to the company carrying out the works; these authorizations may, for traffic reasons, have time limits on circulation and parking to be assessed case by case.

This authorization is chargeable, subject to payment of 120.00 Euros

(one hundred twenty/00) per year, which can be prorated for works lasting more than 15 days, in proportion to the period granted.

• For Markets and/or promotional activities

For the various markets or promotional activities, sponsored or otherwise authorized by the Municipality, in order to guarantee the transit of vehicles intended for transporting sales stalls and their related equipment, authorizations may be issued - exclusively on market days or during the scheduled activity within a

calendar month - for a fee.

The cost of the authorization is €3.00 per vehicle.

Where the setup requires the vehicle to be parked, in addition to mere transit, the cost of the authorization is €5.00 per vehicle.

The list of vehicles subject to authorization and the related payment must be submitted without delay to the permits office of the Municipal Police command within 24 hours of the end of the daily event.

BY EXEMPTION

Outside of the categories provided above, in cases of particular and verified need, authorizations for transit and parking may be issued, with the terms and limits reported case by case therein.
