Peschiera Borromeo ZTL

By Order No. 112 of 16/12/2014, the ZTL was suspended from January 1, 2015 until June 30, 2015.

• from 06:00 to 09:30;
• from 16:00 to 19:30.

The Peschiera Borromeo ZTL control gate is located on via Fratelli Cervi 12, heading toward Robbiano Mediglia.

The access ban to the Peschiera Borromeo ZTL applies to all vehicles, and therefore motorcycles and mopeds may not access it without a permit.

Access, transit, stopping, and parking in the Peschiera Borromeo ZTL is always permitted for:

Temporary circulation permits for the Peschiera Borromeo ZTL are issued to the following categories of people:

• vehicles belonging to the Police Forces;
• vehicles used for public rescue;
• vehicles serving disabled persons, provided they carry the appropriate permit issued under Art. 188 of the Highway Code;
• service vehicles and vehicles used in the institutional duties of Public Administrations, including the Judiciary;
• Fire Brigade;
• Civil Protection;
• Armed Forces;
• Diplomatic Corps holding C.D. or C.C. registration plates

Permanent circulation permits for the Peschiera Borromeo ZTL are issued to the following categories of people:

Vehicles used to transport disabled persons as referred to in Art. 188 paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree No. 285 of 30/04/92 "New Highway Code", and blind persons in accordance with Art. 12 "Special Permit" under Presidential Decree No. 503 of 24/07/96, holding the appropriate permit issued by their municipality of residence, may access the Peschiera Borromeo ZTL upon reporting the license plate numbers of up to two vehicles used for ordinary access to locations within the ZTL.
