Zeitplan

The ZTL of Bardonecchia is always active on Sundays and public holidays and the days before them, from 10:00 to 20:00.

During the high season (15 July - 31 August and 20 December - 6 January) it is active every day from 10:00 to 20:00.

During the low season (7 January - 14 July and 1 September and 19 December -) it is active on all public holidays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 20:00.

In the event of snowfall it is active 24 hours a day.

  • from 20:00 to 21:30.

Temporary permits for access to the ZTL of Bardonecchia are issued by the Bardonecchia Municipal Police in the following cases:

  • via Medail 50;
  • Via Cantore;
  • Via Montenero;
  • Via Medail (junction with Via Montello);
  • Via Giolitti;
  • Via delle Torri;
  • Via Geneys;
  • Via Melezet;

Zugelassene Fahrzeuge

The access ban for the ZTL of Bardonecchia applies to all vehicles, so motorcycles and mopeds cannot enter without a permit.

Berechtigte Personen

The authorizations issued by the Municipal Police Command that allow access to the ZTL of Bardonecchia are as follows:

  • owners of a garage, covered or uncovered parking space located on streets subject to the ZTL regime of Bardonecchia;
  • suppliers of perishable goods;
  • Doctors/nursing staff;
  • Tradespeople;
  • Valuables couriers.

The following categories of vehicles may access, travel through, and park in the ZTL of Bardonecchia without needing a PASS and/or PERMIT, while still reporting the list of plates to the Municipal Administration, with the exception of bicycles or cycles including electric ones:

  • vehicles covered by art. 177 of the New Highway Code (vehicles used for Police, Fire, Ambulance services only while on emergency duty);
  • public transport vehicles (buses, taxis, and chauffeur-driven hire vehicles);
  • vehicles of Bodies/Companies providing a public service (including police forces on ordinary duty), provided they carry an identifying logo visible from outside (out-of-hours medical service and local health authority staff, fiscal and inspection doctors, POSTE ITALIANE, ENEL, TELECOM, companies carrying out maintenance of the water, sewage, district heating, gas networks, snow clearance, etc.);
  • official vehicles of Public Bodies on representational duty, carrying an identifying logo visible from outside (Municipality - Province - Region - Prefecture - etc.);
  • vehicles used for civil protection service, carrying an identifying logo visible from outside, only in emergency cases;
  • vehicles used for funeral services only while carrying out the service: parking will be allowed near the home of the deceased, the church, and the mortuary;
  • Disabled persons holding a disabled parking permit;
  • Special-use armored vehicles of private security and private investigation firms (telecontrol): parking will be allowed only for the time needed to carry out the activity;
  • vehicles used for transporting and delivering medicines to pharmacies located in the ZTL, for the time strictly necessary for delivery.

Zufahrt für Menschen mit Behinderung

Disabled persons holding a disabled parking permit are guaranteed access to and parking throughout the ZTL of Bardonecchia, upon reporting the plates of the vehicles used, in order to update the database managing the video surveillance system. The disabled parking permit must be used solely and exclusively by the permit holder, as set out in Legislative Decree 285/1992. This provision also applies to holders of a disabled parking permit issued by a body other than the Municipality of Bardonecchia. If transit occurs with a vehicle other than the one reported, the report may be made after the fact by fax or electronically.
