Tivoli ZTL

In the medieval historic centre ZTL it is active:

• from 1 November to 31 March
  • Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 23:00;
  • Sunday and public holidays from 14:00 to 23:00.
• from 1 April to 31 October
  • Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 2:00;
  • Sunday and public holidays from 14:00 to 2:00.

The electronic devices for video monitoring of the Tivoli medieval historic centre ZTL are installed in:

• Piazza Massimo, at house number 7
• via del Colle, at house number 98;
• via Domenico Giuliani at the intersection with via Sosii
• Via Colsereno at house number 105

The access ban to the ZTL of Tivoli applies to all vehicles, so unauthorized motorcycles may not enter. Mopeds may however enter even if not authorized.

The following categories of vehicles may enter the ZTL of Tivoli without authorization:

• Vehicles owned by law enforcement agencies,
• Provincial Police,
• Municipal Police,
• Emergency services,
• ambulances,
• Court,
• urban public transport such as Bus - Taxi,
• chauffeur-driven hire vehicles,
• service vehicles of ASA, TELECOM, ENEL, ENI, ACEA, POSTE ITALIANE.

The following categories of vehicles are authorized to enter the ZTL of Tivoli with free-of-charge permits:

• Residents and persons domiciled in the ZTL of Tivoli,
• owners of garages, internal areas, cellars, warehouses,
• drivers heading to nursery and primary schools located inside the ZTL, for the time strictly necessary for pupils' entry and exit,
• vehicles of public interest and public services.

The following categories of vehicles are authorized to enter the ZTL of Tivoli with paid permits:

Vehicles serving disabled persons and people with handicaps, equipped with the appropriate permit as determined by the New Highway Code, may circulate and park in the ZTL of Tivoli, provided they do not obstruct traffic.

Holders of handicap permits may report up to a maximum of two vehicle license plates that they use, providing the full details of the owner of those vehicles.

For access procedures, it is advisable to contact the Tivoli Local Police.

To assist shopkeepers and couriers supplying the ZTL of Tivoli, two separate windows have been established for unloading goods:

• in the morning from 08:30 to 12:00;
• in the afternoon from 15:30 to 17:00 on weekdays.

• from 07:00 to 09:00;
• from 14:00 to 16:00;
• from 20:00 to 22:00.
