• CORSO GARIBALDI from via E. Tola to via Cavour;
• CORSO GARIBALDI from via Cavour to piazza Mazzini;
• CORSO GARIBALDI from via Manara to piazza Mazzini;
• CORSO GARIBALDI from via Sebastiano Satta to via Manara;
• VIA ANGIOY from via Cavour to piazza Mazzini;
• CORSO GARIBALDI from via Dante to via Sebastiano Satta;
• CORSO GARIBALDI from via Manzoni to via Dante;

The access ban for the ZTL of Nuoro applies to all vehicles, so motorcycles and mopeds cannot enter without a permit.

The following categories of vehicles may access the pedestrian area of Nuoro:

• vehicles used for police, firefighting, civil protection and ambulance services, marked with official colours and/or the distinguishing signs of the relevant body, on emergency duty.
• vehicles used for police services without official colours and/or markings of the relevant Administration but belonging to State and Local Police Forces on emergency duty.
• vehicles of residents and those staying in the area, which may park for up to a maximum of 15 minutes, provided they do not obstruct or endanger traffic.
• owners of a garage, private parking space and/or courtyard located within the pedestrian area.
• vehicles serving disabled persons.
• vehicles used for street cleaning and waste collection, specially equipped for these purposes;
• vehicles of local public bodies and vehicles of public service providers marked with official colours and/or the distinguishing signs of the relevant body, on duty within the APU;
• Vehicles belonging to security firms operating in Nuoro for institutional purposes, services marked with official colours and/or the distinguishing signs of the relevant body, on duty within the APU;
• vehicles of doctors and healthcare staff on home visits;
• vehicles accompanying events and gatherings, religious and civil ceremonies; vehicles used for house removals and/or operations at building and/or road construction sites within the APU.

For disabled persons resident in the Municipality of Nuoro, registration takes place automatically when the authorization is issued.
If the disabled person holds a driving licence and owns a vehicle, all vehicles registered to them are registered.
Disabled persons resident in the Municipality of Nuoro holding the authorization referred to in art. 188 of Legislative Decree 30 April 1992, no. 285, may request registration from the Local Police Command.
Holders of authorizations for circulation and parking serving disabled persons issued by municipalities other than the Municipality of Nuoro who need to access the APU may request the Local Police register the vehicle ordinarily used. The request must specify the details of the authorization held by the applicant and the reason why they need to access the APU.
In the case of ad hoc access without prior registration, authorization holders must report the plate details before accessing, via email [email protected] - or via the dedicated phone line 800206616.
The form for registering access to the APU can be downloaded directly from the Municipality of Nuoro's website and can be sent via certified email [email protected] or by ordinary email to the Local Police Corps [email protected].
Access occurring without following the above procedures is considered unauthorized and results in notification of the offence.
