The Certaldo municipal police can issue temporary authorizations related to needs identified by the regulations, and in particular:

- Via San Giorsolè
Dovoljena vozila
In the Certaldo Alto ZTL, transit is prohibited for:
- Buses (except minibuses);
- Trucks (with full load over 3.5t);
- motor vehicles with trailers for agricultural machinery (unless otherwise specified).

In addition to the categories authorized by law, the following categories of people may access the Certaldo ZTL following the issuance of a regular authorization by the Municipal Police:
- Residents and those domiciled there
- Professional suppliers of goods
- Repair, maintenance, installation and construction companies
- Guests of accommodation facilities
- NCC and taxis
- Provision of public utility services
- Owners of properties within the ZTL
- Disabled permit holders
