Where, for proven and documentable needs, and also in order to ensure the proper conduct of non-profit activities, it becomes necessary for a vehicle that does not benefit from one of the exemptions established in the preceding articles to circulate in one of the limited traffic zones of Santarcangelo di Romagna, a special free temporary permit may be issued.

The permit referred to in the previous point allows access, transit, stopping and parking for a maximum of one hour.

In the case of cultural, musical, sporting or other events, the municipal office authorizing the event may also allow access, transit, stopping and parking of motor vehicles within the Limited Traffic Zone, as an exemption from the provisions contained in these regulations, notifying the Municipal Police, complete with the vehicle's license plate number; a copy of the authorization must be displayed on each vehicle.

Povolené vozidlá

The access ban for the Santarcangelo di Romagna ZTL applies to all vehicles, and therefore motorcycles and mopeds cannot enter without a permit.

Within the Limited Traffic Zones, circulation is only allowed for vehicles with a fully loaded weight not exceeding 7.5 tonnes.

Oprávnené subjekty

Access, transit, stopping and parking in the Santarcangelo di Romagna ZTL is always allowed for:

vehicles belonging to the Police Forces;
vehicles used for public rescue;
vehicles serving disabled persons, provided they carry the appropriate permit issued under art. 188 of the Highway Code;
vehicles belonging to any public administration;
vehicles belonging to companies responsible for a public service (for example water, electricity, gas, telephone, waste collection, transport of the deceased, tourist information and reception) in the performance of their duties;
vehicles expressly authorized to reach premises belonging to the municipal administration or tasked by it with carrying out activities within the Limited Traffic Zone;
vehicles expressly authorized for the transport of valuables in the service of Credit Institutions or vehicles in the service of security firms;
the vehicle used to transport a coffin to Churches located within the limited traffic zones;
private vehicles used in special situations (fulfillment of a duty, legitimate right, state of necessity, self-defense) which may be regularized after the fact, upon submission of a justification.

Residents of ZTL "A", "B", "C" and "D" of Santarcangelo di Romagna may request, free of charge, a circulation and parking permit (24 hours) for the first and second vehicle and a circulation and parking permit (1 hour) for the third vehicle. Property owners in the same Limited Traffic Zones may request, free of charge, a transit, stopping and parking permit valid for one hour with a three-year validity for the first vehicle.

The following categories of vehicles may access the Santarcangelo di Romagna ZTL by paying an annual fee:

Property owners' permit for circulation and parking for a second car (allow transit, stopping and one hour of parking):
Annual work permits (allow transit, stopping and one hour of parking):
Temporary work permits for sales agents, craftsmen, goods transport services etc. (allow transit, stopping and one hour of parking):
Operators of businesses located in the ZTL (allow transit, stopping and one hour of parking):

a) for the entire period of the year when daylight saving time is in effect:
- from 06:30 to 09:00
- from 12:30 to 16:00
- from 19:00 to 20:30
b) for the entire period of the year when standard time is in effect:
- from 12:30 to 15:00
- from 19:00 to 09:00

Vehicles serving disabled persons who hold the appropriate permit are allowed access, transit, stopping and parking in the Limited Traffic Zones (Santarcangelo di Romagna ZTL), in compliance with the rules of the Highway Code.
