Montecatini ZTL

The Montecatini Terme ZTL is in operation

• corso Roma, at the intersection with via Gioberti and via Puccini,
• viale Amendola at the intersection with via Puccini,
• corso Matteotti at the intersection with via Toti,
• via Montebello at the intersection with viale Bicchierai
• viale Verdi, at the corner with via Manzoni
• via Don Minzoni,
• via Cavour
• Piazza del Popolo (pedestrian area)
• via Fratelli Guermani (Montecatini alta)
• piazza Barbano Giovannetti (Montecatini alta)
• via Farinati (Montecatini alta)

The access ban to the Montecatini ZTL applies to all motorized vehicles, and therefore two-wheeled motor vehicles may not access it unless previously authorized.

The following may circulate in the Montecatini Terme ZTL

a) Electric vehicles;

b) Vehicles of the State Police, Municipal Police, Armed Forces, Fire Brigade, and Civil Protection, only while on duty;

c) Public Assistance vehicles, limited to essential and urgent services, and Emergency Medical Service vehicles;

d) Vehicles used for urban sanitation;

e) Vehicles serving disabled persons holding the permit provided for by the Highway Code;

f) Vehicles used to transport people going to healthcare facilities for medical visits, therapies, and scheduled tests, in possession of relevant medical certification;

g) Vehicles following funeral processions;

h) Public service vehicles belonging to companies carrying out urgent maintenance work on essential services (e.g. gas, water, electricity, telephony);

i) Vehicles engaged in special or exceptional activities holding a specific authorization issued by the Municipal Police;

l) Urban and Extra-Urban Local Public Transport Service vehicles;

m) Public taxi service vehicles;

n) Vehicles parked in the city center areas affected by the holiday no-stopping ban in force from 15:00 to 19:30, limited to moving the vehicles to another area where parking is allowed, and in any case before 15:00;

Vehicles serving disabled persons holding the permit provided for by the Highway Code may access the Montecatini ZTL: for access procedures, it is advisable to contact the Municipal Police.
