Permits under this article for periods longer than one day must be requested by written application on plain paper. For daily permits, a verbal request is sufficient.
Traffic control officers on duty at posts outside the Foiano della Chiana ZTL are authorized to issue exceptional transit and parking permits not exceeding 3 hours in cases of immediately verifiable necessity.

The request for permits to access the Foiano della Chiana ZTL for disabled persons, registered as residents in the Municipality, is submitted by application on plain paper.
In the application, the applicant declares, under their own responsibility, the personal details and objective elements justifying the request.
The application must be accompanied by medical certification issued by the medical-legal office of the local health authority (Az. USL), showing that the applicant actually has significantly reduced walking ability. The authorization under the preceding paragraph is valid for five years from the date of the medical certificate.
Renewal takes place upon submission of a certificate from the treating physician confirming that the health conditions giving rise to the issuance persist.
For persons with temporary disability due to injury or other pathological causes, the authorization may be issued for a fixed term upon submission of an application on plain paper, declaring under their own responsibility the personal details and objective elements justifying the request, and attaching medical certification issued by the medical-legal office of the local health authority (Az. USL), showing that the applicant actually has significantly reduced, temporary walking ability.
In such cases, the relevant medical certification must specify the expected duration of the disability.
