Salerno ZTL

There are 14 automatic access control devices for the ZTL of Salerno, installed at:

• Via Portanova
• Via Duomo - via Roma
• Via Romualdo II Guarna
• Via Antica corte
• Via San Michele
• Via Monterisi
• Via Mazza
• Via Vigorito (contraflow checkpoint)
• Via Porta di mare (contraflow checkpoint)
• via Portacatena
• via della Porta
• Piazzetta Elina
• Via dei Principati
• Via Conforti

The ban on access to the ZTL of Salerno applies to all unauthorized vehicles, therefore mopeds and motor vehicles cannot access without a permit.

The following vehicles are authorized to enter the ZTL of Salerno:

• bicycles,
• taxis,
• police vehicles,
• rescue vehicles,
• Armed Forces,
• vehicles in public postal service,
• operating machinery for urban sanitation service,
• vehicles in service of the Municipal Administration,
• as well as other Bodies - Companies and Service Firms entrusted with the respective maintenance task.

The following vehicles are authorized to enter the ZTL of Salerno, following specific authorization:

• residents,
• merchants,
• users with the right to use a parking space in garages,
• courtyards, private boxes and areas,
• trucks with a capacity not exceeding 18 quintals.

Holders of a Disability permit may freely transit, stop and park within the ZTL of Salerno.

For any occasional access needs, it is necessary to communicate your plate number, permit number and issuing municipality to the toll-free number 800 890 033 specifically set up by the Municipality of Salerno.
