The ZTL Tridente is active:

From November to April: 21:30 - 03:00 Friday and Saturday.
From May to July: 21:30 - 03:00 Wednesday to Saturday.
In August the ZTL is suspended.
From September to October: 21:30 - 03:00 Wednesday to Saturday.

To obtain daily permits for the ZTL Roma (without issuance of a permit pass) you can call, before entry, the Roma Mobilità single number 06.57003 for the following categories:

Since 27 March 2017, Mayors, Presidents of metropolitan cities and regional presidents can apply online and immediately obtain the paper permit.

1. temporary physical impairments due to injuries or momentary physical infirmities that significantly reduce walking ability.

2. conferences, meetings and cultural, sporting events, etc. for the support activities connected to them.

3. companies providing technology-related services.

4. Transport of bulky materials by private individuals (the permits allow transit and parking for a maximum duration of three hours)

Veículos autorizados

The access ban for Limited Traffic Zones applies only to motor vehicles, so bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles may circulate even without authorization. An exception applies to the Tridente area, where in the zone defined as A1 only authorized mopeds and motorcycles may enter.

The following are exempt from the transit ban in the daytime and nighttime Limited Traffic Zones:

An online license-plate reporting service is active for residents of Roma Capitale and holders of a special permit issued by the Roma Servizi per la Mobilità agency who wish to access the ZTL Roma. Indeed, it is necessary to report in advance the license plates of the cars used (a maximum of 3 may be indicated) via the web portal or the dedicated form.

Holders of a permit issued by a municipality other than Rome must submit, in addition to the form, also a photocopy of their permit and a valid identification document.

Carga / descarga

Only the following vehicle types may enter the freight Limited Traffic Zone, which also includes the Centro Storico and Trastevere zones:

Euro 4, 5, 6
Electric, LPG, methane, hybrid and bimodal electric vehicles.

To obtain the access permit you must submit an application using this form, filled in completely and sent with a copy of the documents mentioned and the applicant's identification document attached:
