Monterotondo ZTL

• from 21:00 to 07:00 the following day on all weekdays,
• from 00:00 to 24:00 (all day) on Sunday and public holidays

The ban on travel in the ZTL of Monterotondo applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorbikes may not enter unless expressly authorized.

Bicycles, hand-drawn and animal-drawn vehicles, and the vehicles listed below, are exempt from the access ban on the ZTL of Monterotondo, provided they have reported their plates in advance (where possible).
1. vehicles for mechanized street cleaning and waste collection on streets within the ZTL;
2. rescue vehicles;
3. service vehicles used in the institutional duties of the Local Police Corps and other Police Forces, the Fire Brigade and other Armed State Corps, and vehicles of security institutes;
4. Civil Protection vehicles;
5. vehicles registered to Public Bodies, Companies and Businesses providing public utility services, telecommunications, water and energy supply;
6. vehicles registered to public or private companies providing mail delivery services;
7. vehicles for transporting valuables;
8. vehicles equipped for forced towing and roadside assistance;
9. private hire vehicles and taxis;
10. Funeral vehicles;
11. Service vehicles of the Municipality of Monterotondo, as well as service vehicles of the bodies and companies managing the following public and public-utility services: gas, public lighting and electricity distribution, water, sewerage, telephony, urban public transport;
12. Service vehicles of: the State, Region, Province, Municipalities of the Province, Health Authorities, Poste Italiane;
13. General practitioners and on-call duty doctors (guardia medica) must individually submit a specific application with the list of plates (maximum 2 plates) of the vehicles for which transit authorization is requested.
The following categories of users may be authorized to travel and park in the ZTL of Monterotondo:

• Residents
• parking spaces
• Assistance
• Trucks and work vehicles
• vehicles used for various services (weddings, various events, functions)
• Production activities

Holders of a disabled permit residing or domiciled within the ZTL of Monterotondo, who are entitled to travel within the ZTL, must submit a specific application, specifying the plate number and type of vehicle normally used.
In case of urgency, holders of a disabled permit may still access with any vehicle without being subject to any administrative penalty, provided they submit to the Local Police Command, within 48 hours of the trip in the ZTL, supporting documentation, including by:
