Sondrio ZTL

Parking and vehicle transit are prohibited in the ZTL of Sondrio every day, 24 hours a day.

The control point of the ZTL of Sondrio is located on via Longoni towards Piazza Cavour.

The ban on access to the ZTL of Sondrio applies to all vehicles, therefore motor vehicles and mopeds cannot access without a permit.

For circulation and parking in the Limited Traffic Zone of Sondrio, three types of concessions are provided for:
a) Type A concession
b) Type B concession
c) Type C concession

The type A concession allows transit throughout the z.t.l. and parking of the vehicle in the yellow space corresponding to the concession number. It consists of a red sticker, to be affixed to the front windshield of the vehicle, marked with the municipal coat of arms, year of validity and progressive assignment number of the space. Upon expiry as per art. 8 paragraphs 1 and 2, the concession is not tacitly renewable.

Individuals with the following requirements are entitled to apply for the type A concession:
a) residency, based on civil registry records, in one of the streets included in the Z.T.L.;
b) absence of a private parking space within the railway perimeter;
c) possession of at least a category B driving licence;
d) ownership of a car.

Individuals with the following requirements are entitled to apply for the type B concession:
a) residency, based on civil registry records, in one of the streets included in the Z.T.L.;
b) possession of at least a category B driving licence;
c) ownership of a car for private use.

Vehicles serving persons with reduced mobility, equipped with the appropriate permit, are exempt without time limits from the transit ban and may park in the designated spaces or outside them, provided no danger or obstruction to traffic is created.
