The transit ban in the ZTL di Cerignola applies to every type of vehicle, and therefore mopeds and motorcycles may not enter unless expressly authorized.

The following types of vehicles may access the ZTL di Cerignola:

• vehicles used for public services or in the public interest, for service reasons and actual necessity, and for the time strictly needed to carry out their functions:
  • 1. Police, Carabinieri, Municipal Police, Financial Police, Penitentiary Police, Provincial Police, State Forestry Corps vehicles;
  • 2. Fire Department vehicles, rescue vehicles, night watch;
  • 3. vehicles used for road maintenance, signage, and lighting systems, only in the case of specific interventions in the area concerned;
  • 4. postal service vehicles for carrying out institutional duties;
  • 5. operational vehicles of contracting companies for public services (Gas Company, Enel, Telecom, Infostrada, etc.) in the case of specific interventions in the area concerned;
  • 6. local public transport vehicles operating on urban network lines, with stops planned at specific bus stops;
  • 7. cars of Public Bodies (Municipality, Province, Region, ASL, etc.) on inspection, representation, oversight, or assistance duty;
  • 8. ASL operational vehicles;
  • 9. vehicles serving family doctors (maximum 1 permit per doctor) on home visits, authorized based on the residence/domicile of their declared patients
  • 10. snowplow operating machines when in use;
  • 11. armored cash-transport vehicles, in the case of specific interventions in the area concerned;
  • 12. hearses transporting coffins to homes or churches in the area concerned;
  • 13. press service (maximum 1 permit per news organization);
• Bicycles and zero-emission vehicles, with dimensions and speed such that they can be assimilated to bicycles;
• installation and maintenance of elevators and lifts; scale repairers;
• Vehicles serving persons with limited or impaired mobility,

• 1. Police, Carabinieri, Municipal Police, Financial Police, Penitentiary Police, Provincial Police, State Forestry Corps vehicles;
• 2. Fire Department vehicles, rescue vehicles, night watch;
• 3. vehicles used for road maintenance, signage, and lighting systems, only in the case of specific interventions in the area concerned;
• 4. postal service vehicles for carrying out institutional duties;

• residents in the ZTL and in the AP,
• Vehicles serving persons with limited or impaired mobility, displaying the appropriate permit referred to in Art. 381 of the Regulations implementing the Highway Code;
• Vehicles owned by citizens who use garages or parking spaces located in the area concerned to store and retrieve their own car, and vehicles of citizens who own properties, not rented out to third parties or held in usufruct, in the area concerned;
• Vehicles owned by business operators and/or professionals whose activity is based in the ZTL or AP (maximum 1 permit per business activity);
• vehicles used by:
  • 1. Jewelry representatives;
  • 2. Cash couriers and notaries;
  • 3. Express mail;
  • 4. Medicine transport;
  • 5. Home food delivery service;
  • 6. Construction companies holding concessions or authorizations for work on areas and buildings located in the areas concerned;
  • 7. Cultural, social, environmental, political, and recreational associations with a properly filed and registered founding deed (based on streets or squares in the ZTL or AP, maximum one vehicle registered to the same Association);
  • 8. in the case of weddings, the couple's car plus 1 service car (e.g. photographer) and 1 relatives' car;
  • 9. taxis and hire-with-driver cars limited to cases of picking up or dropping off people on the streets concerned;
  • 10. goods transport for craft or commercial businesses, carriers, sales agents, and suppliers for needs related to deliveries or services;
  • 11. emergency response services authorized to transport goods (with a load limit of 3.5 t, unless otherwise specified and established by separate act) belonging to companies performing maintenance, with their business based outside the ZTL and the AP, duly registered with the Chamber of Commerce in the following activities:
    • installation and maintenance of plumbing, heating and air-conditioning systems;
    • installation and maintenance of electrical systems; alarm and anti-theft systems;
    • refrigeration system repairers;
    • appliance repair; burner technicians;
