Forte Dei Marmi ZTL

The winter Forte dei Marmi ZTL operates on holidays from 14:30 to 20:00.
In the summer period, from June 1st to September 16th, it is active

• on weekdays from 17:00 to 06:00,
• on holidays from 00:00 to 24:00.

The access ban to the Forte dei Marmi ZTL applies to all vehicles, and therefore motor vehicles and mopeds cannot access without a permit. However, free access is guaranteed to mopeds and motorcycles within the ZTL exclusively to reach the parking spaces reserved for them.

The authorizations issued by the Municipal Police Command allowing access to the Forte dei Marmi ZTL
in the center are as follows:

Free access is guaranteed to Police and rescue vehicles and to visually identifiable Taxis, while for so-called "unmarked cars" registered to the relevant authority, a specific list with the license plates of the vehicles to be authorized must be provided.
Public Transport Companies operating within the municipal territory, transiting through the Center ZTL, must provide a specific list with the license plates of the vehicles to be authorized. As for Private Collective Transport Companies, they must obtain prior authorization, in case of actual necessity, for transit only, from the Municipal Police Command.
Free access is also guaranteed to mopeds and motorcycles within the ZTL exclusively to reach the parking spaces reserved for them.

Vehicles serving disabled persons may access the Forte dei Marmi ZTL even without authorization, but must report their details and the license plate of the vehicle used to the Municipal Police Command within 48 hours of access, or in any case within a period not exceeding 7 days.
